April is National Volunteer Month, and there has never been a more appropriate time to thank all of the volunteers who have given their time, talents, and heart and soul to Senior Services and the older adults of Midland County. And so I humbly say thank you. Senior Services volunteers, some of whom have served for years and others who just recently joined us during the pandemic, go above and beyond to serve our clients – delivering meals, driving them to medical appointments, calling just to check up on people, helping with Medicare insurance, installing smoke detectors and even helping with vaccine clinics! We simply could not do what we do without the dedicated corps of volunteers who give of themselves selflessly. So thank you, one and all, for everything you have done during this recent difficult time and in all the past years.
