By Amy Sheridan, Family Support & Activity Manager at Seasons Adult Day
At Seasons, brain games are part of the everyday programming schedule. From Jumbo Crossword puzzles to Silly Sentences, and Family Feud to Name That Tune, Seasons participants are challenged by a wide variety of cognitive games that put their brain cells to work!
Games provide social and mental stimulation that contribute to one’s overall well-being. Additionally, games provide the brain with beneficial exercise. Leading a healthy lifestyle with the addition of participating in brain gaming and social engagement has been shown to support brain health and potentially reduce the risk of, or slow cognitive decline.
