From the comfort of your own home, you can respond to the census in three different ways. You can fill out the census survey online by visiting my2020census.gov. You can utilize the phone option by calling 844-330-2020 and there will be a representative to walk you through the questions. Alternatively, you can respond through the mail by filling out the paper copy that has been mailed to your home. If you have not responded by June, a Census Bureau representative will most likely visit your home.

During this time of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have learned the importance of school lunch programs, food assistance, housing assistance, childcare, education, and more. The funding that goes towards these programs is directly impacted by census data. Your participation in this census is significant for them.

Senior Services was hosting several census events at our centers from April through July. These events will be rescheduled when the centers reopen. The census has extended their deadline to August 14, 2020. We will do our best to provide you with resources to take it when we reopen. Please stay tuned for details about these events in the upcoming weeks.
