Think drive-thru’s are only for that steaming cup of coffee, crispy taco, or juicy cheeseburger? Think again. Drive-thru’s work great for getting a shot in the arm too! Senior Services of Midland County is just the place where you or your loved one can receive the COVID-19 vaccine booster in the comfort of your own vehicle. The event will be held on Thurs Nov.18 from 1-4 pm.
Midland County Dept. of Public Health is offering all three manufacturer’s vaccine booster doses including Moderna, Pfizer/BioNtech, and J & J at the drive-thru, and we encourage you to stop by if you meet any 1 of the following criteria: age 65 or older; age 18 or older with underlying medical conditions, or who works in a high-risk setting, or who lives in a long-term care setting.
Boosters are given after 6 months following completion of Moderna or Pfizer series, or after 2 months following completion of J & J vaccination.
Register by visiting the Midland County Department of Public Health website (www.co.midland.mi.us/healthdepartment/covidvaccineinformation)
Don’t have internet access? Call (989) 832-6380 and someone will assist you in scheduling an appointment. Pre-registration is recommended but we’ll vaccinate anyone who comes to the clinic within the 1-4 pm timeframe.
We ask that you bring your COVID Vaccine card with you!
The address for the clinic is 4700 Dublin Ave., Midland, MI. Please enter the clinic on Dublin Ave. rather than Saginaw Rd. and follow the signs.
Getting our vaccine rates up in the community, and providing boosters to individuals who have received their full vaccination series, will be the game changer to protect the health of citizens living and working in Midland County. Let’s all do our part to put the COVID-19 pandemic behind us.
