Dementia 101: Understanding the Basics

Join Director of Education and Outreach, Trena Winans, and Health Education Coordinator Billie Ritter, RN, for an enlightening session about Alzheimer’s disease and other related forms of dementia. This informative presentation will discuss the basics including what dementia and Alzheimer’s disease are, their symptoms and stages, and how they are diagnosed and treated. This program background is helpful knowledge for other sessions focused on communication, challenges, and therapeutic engagement.
