Tues, May 16th • 2-3:30 pm

Caring for a loved one experiencing dementia comes with its own set of challenges. Have you ever been faced with a challenging situation that you were unsure how to handle? Did your words or actions make the situation better or worse? Trena Winans, Director of Education and Outreach and Billie Ritter, RN, Health Education Coordinator at Senior Services, will address common dementia behaviors caregivers encounter, consider the potential causes, and offer suggestions on how to deal with them. Come join the discussion.
Reserve your spot below or by calling 989-633-3700! Online registration is available up until 2 hours prior to the program start time. If you are attempting to register less than 2 hours prior, please call 989-633-3700 for assistance.
*For all caregiver classes, if you are caring for another person and are not previously registered with Senior Services as a caregiver, please plan for a few extra minutes on the phone for registration or to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out a brief form. Call 633-3700 to register. Respite scholarships may be available. If requesting respite care, notify when registering.
