Join this brief presentation on energy efficiency and safety and receive a free energy-saving kit. Learn where energy comes from in Michigan, how it is used in a typical home, and simple ways to reduce energy use and costs. Short videos demonstrate the easy installation and benefits of the showerhead and aerators included in the kit. The presentation also covers energy safety and the 811 utility locator system.

Participants will receive a take-home booklet with information on energy efficiency, energy safety, understanding utility bills, and reducing costs through smart energy habits. The kit includes weatherstripping, window insulation film, a high-efficiency showerhead, kitchen and bathroom aerators, nightlights, and more.
