Senior Services will be hosting our annual flu shot and COVID-19 Booster clinics in September in cooperation with the Midland County Health Department. Thanks to a generous grant from the National Council on Aging (NCOA), we will be able to offer some extra reasons to come this year! Each person who attends can choose a Senior Services t-shirt or hat to keep!
- Unable to drive? Rides with County Connection or Senior Services Transportation will be covered for those traveling to our clinics on those days.
It is recommended that everyone 6 months of age and older get vaccinated, but it is especially important for anyone over the age of 50. High dose flu vaccine will be available for those 65 years of age or older. Clinics will be conveniently located at all five centers in the county and administered by experienced professionals. Please check the dates and times for the center of your choice.
No appointments will be taken; injections will be given on a first come, first served basis. Have your Medicare Part B or other insurance card with you and present it at the time you receive your injection along with your COVID card.
In addition to people covered under Medicare Part B, those under a variety of other plans will be able to have their plan billed to cover their vaccination.
