Join SVSU Professor Bob Lane for an inspiring exploration of how curiosity and the internet can open new worlds of discovery. From deepening his appreciation of classical music, dance, and musical theatre through Google and YouTube to tackling online courses in math and science, Bob shares how digital tools have become powerful companions in his lifelong learning journey. This program celebrates the joy of self-directed education and the surprising connections that arise when you “assign yourself” to keep learning.
Aim to arrive by 11:30 am in Trailside and after your table is called, take your lunch into room 160. The talk will begin as close to noon as possible and end by 1:00. Space is limited in the room, so please call ahead to reserve your spot and register for lunch at 633-3700. Lunches are by donation to those over 60, or $7 for those under 60. Please cancel your reservation if you or anyone in your household is sick.
