Ben Franklin: Spring Gardening

Join master gardener Ben Franklin for some essential advice and tips on how to get your garden off to a great start this spring. He will be joined by Elly Maxwell from Dow Gardens to share their expertise on tools, do’s & don’ts, plants, fertilizers and more.

Aim to arrive by 11:30 am in Trailside and after your table is called, take your lunch into room 160. The talk will begin as close to noon as possible and end by 1:00. Space is limited in the room, so please call ahead to reserve your spot and register for lunch at 633-3700. Lunches are by donation to those over 60, or $6 for those under 60. Please cancel your reservation if you or anyone in your household is sick.

After each Lunchtime Learners program, Allison Rossi Utter, Community Outreach & Volunteer Manager will be offering a tour of Trailside Center. If you’ve never taken a tour, this would be a great opportunity to see all that Senior Services has to offer!
