This interactive session will introduce you to the art of guided memoir writing – a way to explore personal stories and transform memories into meaningful narratives. Ansley Dauenhauer is an author, teacher, editor, and writing coach. Her passion is helping people tell their stories and, in the process, to understand the richness and depth of their lives. Ansley received her certificate in the Editing and Publishing Program at UCLA, and she has been trained as a Guided Autobiography Instructor through the Birren Institute in California.
Aim to arrive by 11:30 am in Trailside and after your table is called, take your lunch into room 160. The talk will begin as close to noon as possible and end by 1:00. Space is limited in the room, so please call ahead to reserve your spot and register for lunch at 633-3700. Lunches are by donation to those over 60, or $7 for those under 60. Please cancel your reservation if you or anyone in your household is sick.
