There are many factors that contribute to a person’s fall risk or balance challenges, including age, medication usage, loss of strength and more. Due to a variety of factors, 1 in 4 adults aged 65+ fall each year. And once a person has one fall, their risk of having a future fall nearly doubles! The good news is there are many ways to improve balance, increase confidence and reduce the risk of falling. Join us to hear Renue Physical Therapy’s Abbi Brady, PT, DPT discuss some tips and ideas to help you take control of your balance and fall risk.
After the program, Allison Rossi Utter, Community Outreach & Volunteer Manager, will be offering a tour of Trailside Center. If you’ve never taken a tour, this would be a great opportunity to see all that Senior Services has to offer!
