Fri, March 24th • 12-1 pm
at Trailside in RM 160
Taxidermy is the practice of creating life-like representations of animals by the use of their prepared skins and other supporting structures.
Join professional taxidermist Mark Camilleri as he gives a demonstration of this skill. Mark is a gifted storyteller and will educate and entertain you as he discusses and displays his craft. Mark Camilleri retired in 2016 after 30 years as an award-winning science teacher with the Midland Public Schools.
Aim to arrive by 11:30 am in Trailside and after your table is called, take your lunch into room 160. The talk will begin as close to noon as possible and end by 1:00. Space is limited in the room, so please call ahead to reserve your spot and register for lunch at 633-3700. Lunches are by donation to those over 60, or $6 for those under 60. Please cancel your reservation if you or anyone in your household is sick.
After each Lunchtime Learners program, Allison Rossi Utter, Community Outreach & Volunteer Manager will be offering a tour of Trailside Center. If you’ve never taken a tour, this would be a great opportunity to see all that Senior Services has to offer!
Reserve your spot below or by calling 989-633-3700! Online registration is available up until 2 hours prior to the program start time. If you are attempting to register less than 2 hours prior, please call 989-633-3700 for assistance.
