The City of Midland is seeking public input for the Midland City Modern Master Plan process – and they’re coming to Trailside to give you information, answer questions and gather your input!

• What can the City do to ensure the needs of seniors are met today and in the future?
• What have you valued about the community during your life here?
• What are the biggest challenges and concerns that the City should address in this 30 year vision for the future of Midland?

On January 20 at noon, members from the Planning Department and other City staff will be on hand for a brief presentation, informal discussion and Q&A. Residents are invited to stop by for a conversation and engage in a discussion while enjoying lunch. Lunch is available onsite with registration by 9am that day, or you may bring your own lunch. There will be a brief formal presentation followed by an opportunity to talk with staff about the future of Midland.

After each Lunchtime Learners program, Allison Rossi Utter, Community Outreach & Volunteer Manager will be offering a tour of Trailside Center. If you’ve never taken a tour, this would be a great opportunity to see all that Senior Services has to offer!

Aim to arrive by 11:30 am in Trailside and after your table is called, take your lunch into room 160. The talk will begin as close to noon as possible and end by 1:00. Space is limited in the room, so please call ahead to reserve your spot and register for lunch at 633-3700. Lunches are by donation to those over 60, or $6 for those under 60. Please cancel your reservation if you or anyone in your household is sick.
