Step into the rhythm of tradition with this lively and engaging class on Balkan and Eastern European folk dance! Alina Warner shares authentic steps and patterns of traditional dances from countries like Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Serbia, and more. The main focus will be “hora”, the Romanian circle dance played at weddings and other celebrations. Come join us and connect with the vibrant spirit of the Balkans!

Aim to arrive by 11:30 am in Trailside and after your table is called, take your lunch into room 160. The talk will begin as close to noon as possible and end by 1:00. Space is limited in the room, so please call ahead to reserve your spot and register for lunch at 633-3700. Lunches are by donation to those over 60, or $7 for those under 60. Please cancel your reservation if you or anyone in your household is sick.
