Immunization Update & Vaccination Clinic with Dr. Cathy Bodnar

12-1 pm in RM 160 at Trailside

Join Dr. Bodnar from the Midland County Department of Public Health to learn about some important updates to Medicare coverage for vaccinations such as Shingles. She will also discuss topics including where we are at in the fight for the eradication of Smallpox and Polio, an update on COVID-19 vaccinations, and what is recommended for adult vaccinations at what ages.

Aim to arrive by 11:30 am in Trailside and after your table is called, take your lunch into room 160. The talk will begin as close to noon as possible and end by 1:00. Space is limited in the room, so please call ahead to reserve your spot and register for lunch at 633-3700. Lunches are by donation to those over 60, or $6 for those under 60. Please cancel your reservation if you or anyone in your household is sick.

After each Lunchtime Learners program, we will be offering a tour of Trailside Center. If you’ve never taken a tour, this would be a great opportunity to see all that Senior Services has to offer!

Vaccine Clinic
Fri, June 2nd | 10:30 am-12 pm and 1-2 pm
in RM 159 at Trailside

From 10:30 am-12 pm and 1-2 pm there will be an opportunity to be vaccinated against up to four diseases if you are due. Please call the Midland County Department of Public Health to pre-arrange your vaccines at 989-832-6665. Drop-in also available.
The Vaccines that will be available include:

• COVID-19
• Pneumonia Vaccine-PCV20 (if PCV13 given at least a year ago & need PPSV23, will have PPSV23 available)
• Shingrix (Shingles)
• Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis)
