Navigating Hospice and Palliative Care
Fri, Feb 21 • 12-1 pm • Mills
Many people don’t really understand the difference between palliative care and hospice care. They also tend to struggle with knowing when it’s the right time to seek hospice care and how it can benefit both the patient and the family. This talk will provide valuable insights into the differences between hospice and palliative care, offering guidance on recognizing when additional support is needed. Participants will learn about the services hospice provides, how to have difficult conversations, and how to make informed decisions to ensure quality of life for their loved one or themselves during advancing stages of illness.
Join Jessica Wright, Social Work and Rehab Manager, and Dawn Duffield, Hospice Manager, at MyMichigan Home Care as they equip you with the knowledge to navigate these critical moments with confidence and compassion.
