Keeping It Together: Plan, Plan, Plan!
Details, papers, and decisions – how do you sort it all out? How do you start conversations on tough topics like finances, end-of-life planning or even who gets grandma’s pie plate? There is a way to get organized and “Keep It Together.” Over the course of four events on Wednesdays in March and April, you can get important information to help you sort it all out. These classes are for anyone who is concerned about planning – older adults who want to prepare and plan for their future needs – or those who are caring family members organizing a loved one’s paperwork. Presenters will include: Officer Brennon Warren on making a firearm life plan, Wendy Kanar, JD, on the legal aspects of estate planning, Tyler Little from Wilson-Miller Funeral Home discussing considerations for advance funeral planning, and culminating with Kelly Perry for a National Healthcare Decisions Day workshop on completing your Advance Medical Directive. See below for workshop details.
