Humankind has a long history of remarkable feats of creation – in Planet of Treasures, historian Christopher Clark takes the viewer around the globe to explore UNESCO World Heritage sites.

In this episode, he travels the African continent, known as the cradle of humankind. His journey leads him to Egypt with its ancient pyramids and temples, followed by the churches, fortresses and palaces of Ethiopia, to Tanzania with its breathtaking Serengeti National Park and to the historic Lamu Island off the coast of Kenya.

*Please note that Travel & Adventure Series is concurrent with lunch. If you would like to get a meal the day of the program, please register for your meal by 9 am that day. Be sure to arrive prior to the program start time, between 11:30 and 11:45 am to begin lunch.
