Whether you used to travel the globe and want to comfortably revisit favorite places, are curious about amazing locales you have never seen, or are seeking inspiration for your next trip! Travel and Adventure is being held twice this month so that more people can enjoy the program. Choose which date/format is best for you and register early.

Somewhere on Earth is going to the Azores, a diverse set of volcanic islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean…and in the middle of winter! The Azores are a mix of nature’s finest, with a unique culture, stunning island landscapes, and epic marine life.

We meet Mauro, a young sailor who lives on the island of Flores. He braves the severe winter storms. Then, Joao: He’s fascinated by the sea and has now become an enthusiastic paraglider. Whenever he gets the chance, he spreads his wings and soars above the volcanoes. Finally, we meet Nilton. His island, Pico, is the roof of the archipelago. From this mountain peak Nilton can feast his eyes on the immensity of the Atlantic.

Please note Travel and Adventure is concurrent with lunch. If you would like to get a meal the day of the in-person program, please be sure to register for your meal by 9:00 am that day. Be sure to arrive prior to the program start time, by between 11:30 and 11:45 am to begin lunch.
