The Friendly Visitor/Shopper Program at Senior Services is designed to support homebound older adults who are feeling the deep effects of loneliness and who lack a local support system.

Through the help of caring volunteers, we provide companionship and assistance with essential shopping for those who are isolated or unable to drive. Visits are tailored to each individual’s needs and typically occur weekly or bi-weekly for about an hour or two.

We make every effort to match each participant with a dedicated volunteer, though availability depends on the number of volunteers currently serving.
