Kay Burton has been a Health Benefits Assistance Volunteer since 2016. Many of you may have talked with Kay during the year or during Medicare Open Enrollment. Kay is knowledgeable and practical, providing clear information so an individual can make an informed decision on their Medicare options.
In order to provide this assistance to Medicare Beneficiaries, Kay completed an extensive training provided by the Medicare Medicaid Assistance Program. Since the initial training, Kay has also completed annual re-certifications.
The Medicare Medicaid Assistance Program presented Kay with their Volunteer Team Member award for the most one-on-one counseling hours from April 1, 2020-March 31, 2021.
Kay is a valuable Senior Services volunteer and we could not offer the level of service to our community without her help.
