Medicare Annual Enrollment Period for Part D and Medicare Advantage plans is October 15th through December 7th, with coverage beginning January 1st. This is an opportunity for you to shop around for a plan that will best meet your needs next year. By completing a comparison at Senior Services, you may decide to switch to another plan that has lower out-of-pocket costs.

Senior Services has State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) certified staff and volunteers to assist you. Senior Services can assist with the following:
- Explore Medicare Part D and/or Medicare Advantage Plans.
- Compare your current plan with two additional plans available for next year based on your current situation and medications.
- Review the plans’ coverage, premium, deductible and copayments.
- Review or assist with plan enrollment if you decide to switch plans.
- For those who are new to Medicare, we can assist with a comparison and initial enrollment in a plan.
- For those who appear eligible, we can assist with applications to Social Security Extra Help and/or the Department of Health and Human Services Medicare Savings Program.
