At Senior Services, we understand how important it is to stay connected to your community and maintain your independence. That’s why our Transportation Services are here to make getting where you need to go easier and more enjoyable. Whether it’s a trip to the doctor, the grocery store, or other essential errands, our caring volunteer drivers are ready to provide door-to-door service with an “arm to lean on.”
How It Works
Our transportation service operates throughout Midland County, offering rides Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (Please note: for out-of-town rides, the last pick-up time is 4:00 p.m.)
To ensure we can accommodate your needs, we kindly ask that you schedule your ride at least 4-5 business days in advance by calling 989-633-3745. Our ride slots fill quickly!
Cost of Service
We strive to keep our services affordable for all.
- One-way ride: $3.50
- Round trip: $7.00
You’ll receive a bill for your rides at the end of each month, so there’s no need to worry about payment upfront.
Our Vehicles
We’re equipped to meet a variety of needs, including mobility challenges, with our fleet of:
- Four wheelchair-accessible vans
- Five SUV’S
Where Can We Take You?
Our services cover the entire county and can help you get to:
- Medical appointments
- Grocery stores
- Other business needs
What We Don’t Offer
While we aim to meet as many needs as possible, there are some limitations:
- We cannot assist with hospital discharges, ER visits, urgent care needs, or transportation from 24-hour care facilities.
- We are unable to provide pick-ups to and from assisted living facilities, or after major medical procedures involving anesthesia (e.g., surgeries).
- Our drivers cannot stay with you during medical appointments.
