Seasons is pleased to offer a beginner monthly paint class led by Leo and Merry Feith for participants in attendance. This class gives older adults an outlet to express themselves creatively and focus on positive moments in time. Reminiscence, memory recall and sharing naturally occur during the painting class. This therapeutic art process helps support and validate life’s experiences and recollections. Additional benefits are:
- Improved mood and laughter
- Strengthened self-esteem and confidence
- Improved ability to express emotions and thoughts
- Increased reminiscing opportunities
- Heightened awareness and stimulation
- Increased camaraderie amongst peers
- Enhanced concentration
