Welcome to the newest addition at Senior Services: The Corner Pocket Lounge! Formerly known as the arts and crafts room, this transformed space is now a hub of recreational excitement for folks looking to engage in some friendly competition and socialize. Open five days a week from 8 am to 4 pm, The Corner Pocket Lounge offers a variety of activities to suit every interest. Whether you’re a seasoned billiards pro, a ping pong enthusiast, a music lover, or a Wii games aficionado, there’s something here for you.
One of the highlights of The Corner Pocket Lounge is the introduction of pool and Wii Bowling tournaments, where participants can showcase their skills and take home the title of champion. We are currently looking for participants for pool, Tuesdays and Thursday at 12:30 pm for Wii Bowling. It’s a great opportunity to test your abilities, make new friends, and enjoy some healthy competition. But it’s not just about the games; it’s also about the camaraderie. The lounge provides a welcoming space for older adults to come together, share stories, and forge new connections. If you’re a regular participant or dropping by for the first time, you’re sure to feel right at home in The Corner Pocket Lounge.
So why not stop by and join in the fun? The Corner Pocket Lounge is located right outside of Trailside dining hall inside of Senior Services. Follow the signs or ask our front desk staff. If you’re looking to sharpen your skills, unwind with friends, or simply enjoy the company of others, The Corner Pocket Lounge is the place to be. We can’t wait to see you there!
