Program Aide at Seasons Adult Day Health Services
Flexibly Scheduled (up to 25 hours/week) Seasons is a therapeutic activity based enrichment program that provides daytime care Monday-Friday for individuals living with a chronic illness, changes in memory or with a dementia such as Alzheimer’s disease. Primary responsibilities include facilitating small group, large group, and downtime activities which provide beneficial social engagement. Other duties include assisting participants with hands-on personal care such as bathing, toileting, meals, physical mobility with walkers and wheelchairs, and ensuring a positive and safe environment. Candidates must have a genuine interest and compassion for working with older adults, positive attitude, patience, strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team. Hours will vary from 7:30 am to 4:45 pm Monday through Friday. Multiple openings are available, apply today!

Assistant Cooks at Trailside & Greendale

Part-time (29 hours/week) Seeking motivated individual to work in a high paced environment to assist with the preparation, serving, and packaging of appetizing, attractive and nutritionally-balanced meals for Meals on Wheels. Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance, the ability to lift up to 45 lbs., strong interpersonal communication skills, and a customer service oriented mindset Must have or willingness to obtain SERVSAFE Certification or equivalent. Previous food service or commercial meal preparation experience preferred but not required. High School diploma or equivalent required.

Direct Care Worker – Home Care
Part Time (20-29 hours per week) Provides personal assistance and support to older adults in their home. Assistance includes, but not limited to, bathing and grooming, laundry, homemaking, and grocery shopping. Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb stairs and lift up to 25 lbs. required. Previous personal care experience preferred. Effective oral and written communication. Ability to work compassionately with individuals with varying degrees of physical and cognitive limitations. Position requires driving within Midland County. Competitive pay, holiday pay and mileage reimbursement at the current IRS rate. High school diploma required, Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) not required. Openings for On-Call Cooks in the Nutrition Department to provide kitchen assistance as needed at all Centers. This position has no guaranteed weekly hours or benefits, (called in when needed). The knowledge gained regarding food safety, preparation, service and clean-up will help to prepare you for potential future opportunities. Previous food service or commercial meal preparation experience preferred but not required.
