Senior Services is the only organization in Midland County dedicated to providing the wide array of services needed to help older adults age where they want to be – in their home.
Many of our services are designed to support seniors living independently in their own homes longer. Additionally, our offerings extend to enrichment activities, empowering seniors to embrace the life they aspire to lead.
For families navigating the complexities of supporting their aging loved ones, we provide invaluable aid through caregiver support groups and evidence-based educational courses.
Senior Services is the best place to start if you are looking for help, something to do or a way to make a difference! Most of our services are available to the public for free or low cost to them.

Volunteer of the Month
Gaylord and Sharon Cheney are the November Volunteers of the Month for their assistance at the Sanford Activity and Dining Center. When Gaylord and Sharon first contacted the Sanford Center, they asked one simple question: “How can we help?” That moment marked the start of a remarkable journey of service, friendship, and community impact. Since then, they’ve become vital to the center’s daily life, contributing to every major event from proms to parades, and bringing energy, warmth, and dedication to everything they do. Whether lending a hand, joining activities, or offering a kind word, they embody the spirit of community. “They are a dynamic duo, and Sanford is truly blessed to have them,” says Site Manager Dawn Powell. “They give so much of themselves, not just in time and effort, but in spirit.” Read More
