Volunteer of the Month
Harry Peless has been chosen as June Volunteer of the Month for his over 1,188 hours as a driver for the Transportation Department since 2009! When Harry retired after 30 years as a Letter Carrier, he knew he needed to find something else to keep him busy. Making a Difference
To promote and enrich the quality of life for older adults and those who care for them by collaboratively providing meaningful services and opportunities.
Be An Advocate
Senior Services actively advocates for the rights of older adults. Keep up-to-date on current legislation and let your local and state representatives know your views.
Every contribution advances our mission. Your contribution ensures that older adults will continue to receive the assistance they need and thrive in their homes!
“My Care Coordinator is wonderful, she keeps me going.”
“I learned so much! I wish I’d known several years ago what I learned during the last 6 weeks. This has changed my caregiving life!!”
“I couldn’t be a caregiver without your help.”
“I went from denial and fear to I can do this. I feel ready and prepared for the task ahead. I am no longer in denial.”
“We’re all human and make mistakes and we all have burdens, and I don’t get as frustrated with people.”
“Now that I am more accepting of myself, I’m able to be content and at peace, and I can laugh and joke and treasure the moment.”
Every one of our centers is filled with people
just like you—older adults looking for good food,
good friends and fun stuff to do.
