Safety Team Can Help!

A Volunteer Team that helps older adults maintain their homes by making them safe and secure. Many older adults have to give up the independence of living in their home simply because the home has not been modified for their safety. Senior Services – Senior Safety Team to the rescue!

Peace of mind having a safe and secure home.

Trusted qualified volunteers that complete jobs.

What We Do

Installing grab bars, raised toilet seats, and anti-slip surfaces in bathrooms
Installing smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors
Securing slip hazards, stairs, and handrails
Other safety-related repairs and tasks

Tasks Unable to Do

No roof work, eaves replacement/cleaning, painting or crawl space work
No lawn, garden work, chemical applications, window washing, or snow removal
No floor replacement, furniture moving, or rearranging
No plumbing or electrical work

About Our Service

Must be a Midland County Resident
Homeowner or permission from landlord

Our hours of operation varies. Labor and parts are free to seniors in Midland County. However, donations are greatly appreciated and are used to help expand the program and help more people in the community.
