Midland is a community of tremendous opportunity and resources. Senior Services strives to be the community leader and resource for addressing the diverse needs of older adults. The goal of resource development at Senior Services is to enhance independent living, lift burdens, and provide remedies to difficulties encountered by older adults.
The Care Coordination team is active in the community identifying resources. We attend community meetings to build connections including Faith-Based Community Assistance, Midland Association for Senior Care, Midland County Local Planning Body Continuum of Care, and Inter-Agency Network. While we work with many organizations, some of our partnering agencies include Family and Children’s Services, Weiler Law Group, Midland County Health Department, Emergency Food Pantry Network, Veteran’s Service Office, American Red Cross, and MyMichigan Health.
Our team is constantly building knowledge of resources and are available to answer your call and move you toward solutions. Resources include legal assistance, memory support, medical equipment, grief support, foot care, food access, home safety, caregiver support, in home care, care facility information and more.
Reach out to Senior Services to discuss your needs and to learn how Senior Services and community resources can help. We are here for you.
